Login screen pops up often and requests me to login

In the last 6 weeks or so, I often (on a daily basis) get a login screen pop up and I have to log in. It is very frustrating! If I don't login, I lose access to CRM.

We use Outlook 365 and have Dynamics Online. I use the Outlook plug-in for CRM. My laptop is on Windows 8.1 (will be upgrading to Windows 10 soon).

I suspect that it may have something to do with my Skype account as it uses the same log-in details.

Please help

    Hello Barry,

    It may be a stupid question but have checked the Keep me signed-in when you enter your credentials ?

    Also, can you ensure you didn't configured your browser to delete cookies periodically ?

    Hi Clement,

    Thanks for your response. I'm logging into CRM automatically as I'm using the Outlook Connector and I have checked that the "keep me logged in" box is checked. My browser is not configured to delete cookies. I think it may have something to do with a Skype account that uses the same credentials?

    Usually, you connect to the CRM with Work account and Skype with Microsoft account (personnal) with the same email address, if you keep signed-in you will be prompted for your credentials only once for each account. However if you log out from one of these accounts you will be prompted again for your credentials, ensure to not log out from Skype and maybe you won't be asked again.

    Personnaly, I use my both personnal and work credentials on Google Chrome and I have no issue as long as I don't log out.

    Hi Clement,

    I use Chrome as my browser, CRM defaults to IE (as far as I know) and I never log out of any of the applications during my working day. I am still getting the login prompts and now have to close Outlook in order to connect back into CRM.

    I don't know if it will help but try to check Windows' Microsoft account settings :

    Hi Clement,

    I've checked this and am now synchronising between the domain and the Microsoft account, but I'm still getting the login prompt.

    I would suggest contacting Microsoft support for this issue. As its online there is not much you can check to debug the issue.
