Is it possible to change the date format if you are modifying a document in Word? As an example, on the sales invoice the document date is shown in ext format (September 1, 2020). I would like it to display as 9/1/2020

You could either try modifying date format on word layout. Export your layout and import it again with the desired format.

You can Use the Format function on your date before sending it to Word document.
