Hi,

I am trying to import my solution from DEV to UAT and a missing dependencies:.
msdyn_ProjectSophiaAnchor

I have this solution in some of my environment, but not other. My guest is one of my applications is not 'up to date'.
The import tool suggest to install the solution.
When I click the Install button,  the page to install app open, but I don't know which one to install.

I am in Canada, so Sophia is not working for us now, I see 2 possibilities:
a) Remove the dependency to msdyn_ProjectSophiaAnchor in my DEV environment and export the solution again.
b) Install or update the app in UAT

Any suggestion on how to do a) or b), or other will be appreciated.

Good morning, afternoon, or evening :) depending on your location!

Based on your description, here are some suggestions to address the issue:
Option A: Remove the Dependency in DEV
    1. Identify the Dependency:
Check which components in your solution reference msdyn_ProjectSophiaAnchor. This could be a subcomponent or a feature tied to the Project Sophia application.
    2. Modify the Solution:
Remove or replace the components that rely on msdyn_ProjectSophiaAnchor. This may involve editing workflows, plugins, or other solution elements.
    3. Re-export the Solution:
Once the dependency is removed, re-export the solution from DEV and attempt the import into UAT again.
Option B: Install or Update the App in UAT
    1. Determine the Application:
The msdyn_ProjectSophiaAnchor dependency is likely tied to the Project Sophia application. While Sophia is not active in Canada, the dependency may still be required for certain functionalities.
    2. Install the Application:
Use the Install button in the import tool to install the required application in UAT. If the page does not clearly indicate which app to install, check the Microsoft documentation or contact support for clarification.
    3. Update the Application:
If the application is already installed but outdated, update it to the latest version to ensure compatibility with your solution.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Holly,

I had search for somethig with 'sophia' in the application before posting, but did not find it. You say it existed, so I search again and found it this time.

I will talk with my team to see if they think option a or b is the best.

    Thanks
