Hi All,
I try to find a solution how can we setup product by customer on dynamic 365 FO.
Example Item A only sell for customer A. We can't sell it for customer B.
Please support.
I see We can setup restrict by Reginal on the system.
Hi,
There is no standard feature to restrict product by customer, you need to customize it as the approved vendor in purchase.
Or set up trade agreement for customer B with the 0.01 amount, when user enter the item in SO line, he should know that the item is restricted.

Hi Peter,
I will customize 2 steps below :
1. I add a new field on release product -> external item description -> IsSpecial : Yes/No
2. If I setup yes - When User add new line on external item description -> We will write a function prevent user save it.
3. When User create this quality order on sales line - We also write a functions check Is it special or not - If not We will show a message and User can't save it

If you are looking for an alternative there is a native workaround to restrict products by customer in the link below:

If you have advanced warehousing you can use the inventory status code to ring fence inventory to a specific customer. This will allow planned supply of an item to a specific customer by creating coverage against the specific inventory code. It will also ONLY allow reservation of that ring fenced stock to a specific customer.
You could still sell the item to another customer but only if the inventory was set to a generic code such as "Available". We have a customer who uses this method successfully and it works with intercompany trading too.
