how to put some values from azure SQL database to dynamics 365 dashboard or portal?

Hello,

I have some data in Azure SQL database I want to show this data to Dynamics 365 screen or Dynamics 365 portal. Is there any way of such integration? Power BI is also acceptable In between Azure SQL database and Dynamics 365. if it is possible do through Power BI.

Please provide suggestion if anybody knows about it?

    Alternate entity is best and correct option.

    Once the connection is established between Power BI and Azure SQL database, you could create the required representation of the data in the reports and pin them to a Power BI dashboard. This power BI dashboard can be shown in the Dynamics CRM or a tile can be shown in Dynamics CRM dashboard.

    You could download Power BI for desktop from the link below and connect it to Azure SQL database.

    powerbi.microsoft.com/.../desktop

    You should be able to query your Azure SQL database using Power BI and display that in a Power BI tile on the CRM dashboard. Dynamics 365 (v8.2.1) allows you to display tiles from a Power BI personal or organization report/dashboard.

    You should verify that you have the proper Power BI licenses for this purpose.

    The latest iteration of Dynamics 365 has a new feature called "Virtual entities". You may want to try that option.
