Hello Everyone,
I created a Role for a user, when the user goes into Item inquiry, clicks on the magnifying glass and then on the binoculars for advanced search the message of security privileges comes up. I do not know where to go to allow access.
The user was not given Smatlist access.
Any insight would be appreciated.

To resolve this issue, please proceed as follow:

Logged in as sa or a poweruser, please go to Microsoft Dynamics GP > Tools > Setup > User Security > Select the User affected by the issue> select the company where the user is experiencing the issue > Check the following checkbox: Display Selected Roles > Double click on one of the user Security Roles

In the Security Role Setup window with the Roles you previously double clicked on > Check the "Display Selected Tasks" > Double click on one of the user task (e.g view items or INQ_INV_001*)

Once the Task ID is opened up> Select Product: Smartlist > Type Window > Series: System > in the Access List field, check the "Columns" checkbox > Click Save in the Security Task Setup > Click Save in the Security Role Setup > Click Save in the User Security Setup Window

Have the user try again, and please let us know the outcome
