    Hi Archer,

I believe there is no Freelance Developer licenses as a pricing option for Business Central.  Depending on what version of Business Central you are developing for (onsite or SaaS based) you can access a demo / development environment in a few different ways:

    1) Download the on premise version of Business Central and work with the program there.  I have noticed differences between this and the SaaS based versions though.

    2) If you are a Microsoft Partner you can spin up Demo environments for either a 1yr term or 90day term.  Here you have full features, but as noted will expire after the time limit.

    3) If you have an office 365 business email address you can sign up for Business Central with your email address and use the Cronus demo company for free noting that this is your companies instance of BC.

    Thanks,

    Aaron

got the real helping and needed answer from a providing service partner.

the partnership incl. dev license and the opportunity for reselling customer licenses starts with costs of EUR 3.000 per year.

    Hi,

You can install Visual Studio Code and then install paxkage for AL development and then just connect to your BC SaaS Sandbox environment.

Of course you must have access to BC SaaS first.

I'm just not 100% sure if you need office365 account.

I now you can do the development in the object range 50000..90000.

    Thanks Damjan
