Filter all Processes and Components owned by a user in an Environment

Hi Community,

I have a requirement of Identifying all processes and systems owned by a particular user named 'CRM Admin'.

We are about to deprecate the User completely, so need to export all components that exist in all solutions and migrate them to different user.

ex: Connection references, cloud flows, canvas apps and model driven apps, etc.

To extract this info, I went on to the Processes entity and filtered all records where the owner eq CRM Admin, but this is not enough.

I will have to extract similar to this from each entity.

Is there any easy or better way to extract this info and change the owner?

Also, what will happen to those components if the owner is a CRM Disabled user?

Appreciate your help.

many thanks in advance.

    Hi,

You need to look at below entities for your task.

    1. Process - This will cover flow, ream time workflow, on-demand workflow, Business Rule

    2. connection references

    3. SDK message processing - for plugin

    4. Canvas app and model driven can be directly checked from Default solution - Advanced setting - customisation - customize the system

If you don't change ownership and you deactivate user, Business user will start seeing unexpected error.

    Hi Bipin,

    Thanks for your reply.

These are the same entities I should check if there are any processes or other components related to portals owned by this user?

    Regards,

    Venkata

    Hi,

Sorry, I am not much familiar with portal.

But yes workflow and plugin steps are same for portal too.

You need to check other configurations records like website, site settings, template etc.
