Hi,

iam trying to Find a solution to Set the Product Entity - Product ID Field Auto Generated (Auto Numbering) & Read only.

Support on same the same would be highly appreciated ,

You should not need to provide the entity name in the identifier record as it is automatically linked when you use it in your On Create workflow or on the Form in the Onload event.

Regarding the error, can you provide a details of steps to re-produce the error. Also make sure to provide screenshot of the Identifier record.

Vahid I tried what you proposed but it did not work (I registered the plugin at prevalidate).

HN CRM I download the solution but I'm getting an error (date time error) when i choose type="Sequential" Moreover where do I fill the entity name in the identifier record? Note that I read wiki to know how to use the solution.

Have a look at Dynamics 365 Identifier Generator available from github.com/.../HNIdentifierGenerator. It supports generation of the auto number both before or after the entity is created.

Hi,

thanks for your suggestion, i already tried the plugin's above before but unfortunately the plugin didn't generate the Auto Numbering for the field when create the product - the plugin run only after hit save. and in my case i need to set a Auto Numbering for a Primary Field which cant be Null - so once i hit save i get an error that the field cant be Null - on other hand if i use the plugin for another field which could be null it work fine after hit save button.

hope there is a solve for this issue.
