Picklist values not mapping in when converting Lead to Account

I set up a workflow to take a lead and convert it to a qualified Account. The fields that I was able to dynamically map work fine but the picklist values do not dynamically map and therefore seem to convert to the default value. Is this a known issue or is there a workaround. I have already mapped the values in the relationship section of the entity.

    Hi,

When you map the Picklist attribute of one entity with the Picklist attribute of another entity in relationship you need to take care that the Picklist values in both the attributes are the same.

For e.g. you have an attribute PKLST1 in Entity 1 and PKLST2 in Entity 2

Both PKLST1 nd PKLST 2 should have same picklist values. Not just the Option description but also the value.

    PKLST1 Options

    1 - One

    2 - Two

    3 - Three

If PKLST 2 Options are different than the above say

    1 - TWO

    2 - ONE

    4 - Four

It will result in incorrect mappings.

Please verify and it will solve the problem.

    Thanks!

    Sam

    Hi Inogic

Any idea of the simplest way to change picklist values in one entity to match the same picklist values in another entity?

Probably the simplest way is to just verify all values in one picklist and make sure the values match in the other.

    It's a bit of a tedious process...
