Can we do inventory transaction in business central where we select G/L account in offset.
Like Item Dr and G/L account Credit
Inventory transactions should be done with the Item Journal. You could post a general journal into the inventory accounts, but then you'll have issues with costing later on because you'll break the connection to the original Item Ledger. You can manage which accounts are used through the posting setup. If you are an end user, you should probably get some help from a Business Central partner to teach you how this all works.
