Hello All,
Can anyone enlighten me on how to Import GP Financial Statements into Excell?. This is very Urgent

Sorry to drag this out but:
1. Are you looking for the exact format financial statements or the information (ie account balances) used to create the statements?
The SmartList Account Summary will give you the raw data to create financial statements. You can pull these records and get the credit/debit amount for each account and each period for selected years. This drops straight into Excel.
Account Transactions in SmartList gives you the trial balance information that again can be dropped into Excel.
If you have SmartList Builder, then you have Excel Report Builder and can create an Excel Spreadsheet that pulls data from GP directly.
If you do not have SmartList Builder/Excel Report Builder you can still install the Excel Reports delivered with GP. This collection contains 193 financial reports, some of which show account balances, account activity, all in Excel.
I want to import the Financial Statement in the exact format. I am specifically refering to Profit & Loss (Income) Statement and Balance Sheet. on GP
Excel makes this difficult.
Excel tries to guess where columns start and what goes into each column. Usually Excel starts this process with the first line imported, the report header.
Try using the Excel Report Builder. YOU get to layout the data there.
I want to install Frx 6.7 on a windows Server 2003 operating system, but the installation fails given me Error (-5006:0x80070017) each time i tried to Install. The error message detail is thus:
"An Error (-5006:0x80070017) has occured, Please make sure you have finished any previous set up and closed other applications. If the error still occurs, please contact your vendor: Frx Software."
I have restarted the system to ensure that all other application are closed but the error still comes up.
From where you want to print to Excel
If from Financail Reports in GP you can select to print to file with type tab and then open it with excel.
If from FRx you can select output type as formatted Excel.
For the FRx Error try to uninstall any FRx version and then restart your PC and deleted any folder for FRx and run your installation again.

Concerning the Frx Installation i have tried to clean up any frx components on the system. But the Error Information i have is: showing that a DLL file is missing.
