Bank reconciliation lines can't be unmatched (but aren't matched to anything)

I seem to have an issue where I can't remove the match for certain lines in the bank reconciliation, but the lines are not actually matched to anything. A colleague started the bank reconciliation, and has said the lines were like this when she opened the new rec. I can't reverse the transaction and start again as the entries appear on an unposted bank reconciliation....

Any ideas?

Hello,

If you selected all the lines and clicked Actions/Matching/Remove Match will it not cancel the match?

If this does not work did you try deleting the Bank Rec and starting over? If you have, I would then suggest you get your Partner and one of their Developers to investigate and correct the Bank Account Ledger lines to resolve.

Nope, although it seemed to be a result of where I had bank accounts that swept into each other (we have a main checking account, and then a cash sweep account).

I had to get our support partner to write a bit of script to clear the matching.

Now when I'm doing the bank recs, I have to make sure that all banks recs are complete before posting and I don't seem to have the issue.
