Drag and Drop for attachment in Dynamics 365 Portal

Hi Team,

Is it possible to create a drag and drop interface for Dynamics 365 Portal?

To be specific, this is an Employee Self Service Portal, and we wanted to create this interface to upload the attachment opposed to the default "Attach file" button.

Hi,

Once Dynamics Portal shows standard control to upload file you have plenty ways to let it work with drug&drop feature.

You can use just vanilla JS technique as explained here: www.smashingmagazine.com/.../drag-drop-file-uploader-vanilla-js

Or using plenty of 3rd party libraries which makes this even more easy.

"City of Phoenix" portal has multiple configuration applied, making it far from vanilla OOB portal. At their example they used SharePoint integration to upload files, which is accessible now on all Dynamics Portals.
