Hi There
I am trying to set up the built in integration between MS-CRM 2011 and Sharepoint 2010. They are running on 2 different servers on the same domain with no firewalls on either server.
Steps I am following in MS-CRM 2011
1) Got to settings
2) open document management
2) select an entity
3) type in the URL "http://workspaces/crm/crmdoc/"
I get a message saying "http://workspaces/crm/crmdoc/ is a valid URL. Microsoft Dynamics List Component is not installed."
I have read every article I can find on the net about the "Microsoft Dynamics List Component is not installed". I have spent 4 days trying to get this right and am just about ready to set fire to the server room and run. I am hoping someone can provide a solution.
Things I have tried.
1) Install CRM under an account called CRMAdmin and set the service account for all services to a domain user account called CRMService.
2) BOTH accounts have the following setup
- local admin on the CRM server (which covers the access to trace folder & registry)
- local admin on the SQL server
- part of [domain user], [performance log users], [CRM_WPG], [SQLAccess], [PrivUser], [IIS_IUSRS]
- trusted for delegation on active directory
- part of BLOGADMIN group on the sharepoint site collection
3) On the sharepoint Server
- Microsoft Sharepoint Foundation Sandbox Code Service is running
- Browser file handling set to permissive
- Ran "AllowHtcExtn.ps1 http://<OurSharepointURL>"
- SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED AND ACTIVATED THE LIST COMPONENT TO THE SITE COLLECTION
4) Other factors
- There are no firewalls on these servers
- I have added SPN's to the CRM server
- I have rebooted the CRM server
Most of the info I got from this blog:

Please help
Jonathan
