Filter option set field on the view

Hi ,

I have an option set field with 1 items: Yes and default to Unassigned value

I add this field to a view. when I clicked on the Filter , there is the

select all and YES check box (in the picture below) but when I check YES, it doesn't filter at all.

If I filter based on contains data or custom filter (select YES) , it filters correctly

Please advise why the checkbox filter doesn't work.

    Hi DDee,

    This is by design when you have only one option in the optionset , by default when you select one options its selecting"Select All". Which means its internally will return all record irrespective of the options you choose (as only one options you have) . So the workaround is either you use two options or you can use filter with contains data or does not contain data.
