I have an urgent scenario that requires we transfer inventory from a basic warehouse to one that is WMS enabled.
However I am facing difficulty accomplishing this.
From warehouse: is not WMS enabled
Transit Warehouse: is not WMS enabled (I have tried both types)
To warehouse : is WMS enabled
Error:
Transfer number: TR-XXX000111
Line number: 1.00
License plate must be specified for this location.
Update has been canceled.
What would usually be happening in this scenario is that the system automatically moves the inventory into the Transit Warehouse (non-WMS enabled).
Since the transit WH is not a WMS enabled warehouse, the license plate requirement should not exist. right?
Is the license plate requirement coming from something else such as the inventrrans record for the receipt transaction in the to-Warehouse? Is there a way around this?
Transactions
These transactions show on the line of the transfer order that I am trying to ship. I don't see a reference to the transit warehouse.I have tried other WMS-to-WMS transfers and the in-transit transaction lines show up only after confirming a Load.
In this case there is no outbound load, no containers , and no packing structures since this is an outbound shipment from a non-WMS enabled warehouse.
