Error running past year Financial Reports

Any 2010 Financial Report I try to run gives me the following error

"The year you've selected for an open-year column is invalad for 2010 "Report Name"

I did go in and open the year up in Company.Setup/Financial Periods.

I have been able to run other year reports tho !!!

What is my problem here?

    Sounds like you are jusing Advanced Financial Analysis for these reports. If so, you need to go into the report and change the Open Year on the report. You have already closed 2011 so 2011 is no longer an open year.

    I am going thru the regular Financial Statement p[tion under Financial.

    2011 is not closed yet.

    Reports->Financial-> Advanced Financial and then pull up the layout of the report you are trying to print. You will need to adjust the column layout of the column that has the open year. This is Advanced Financials. Are you the one who created these reports or have you just be the one running them? You can use the on line documentation to help.

    The layouts have been ther.  I have not had to do this with 2009 or 2008.

    Where do I find the documentation?

    Sorry for the double post

    I copies the 2009 and figured out how to change the dates.  TY for your assistance
