Dear All,
There is more than one price information with a start and end date for a product on sales price table. Because the price is updated on the 1st of every month.
If we create a sales order for October 2022, the October prices appear in that order and an invoice is generated at those prices. It is ok.
However, if the order created in October 2022 is invoiced in November 2022, it must be invoiced with NAV November prices. How can I make this price update automatically on sales order?
The NAV shows the prices on the day the order was created and the invoice generate of these prices.
Even if one of the products in the order is invoiced, the order date cannot be changed. Therefore, the product prices are not updated by changing the date.
Is there a setting to update the products in the sales order to the last price or to create the invoice with the last prices?
Thank you fir your interest.
As ZHU said it isn't standard. In some countries is a legal requirement that the price order has to be respected on invoice
Hi, as far as I know, the standard doesn't have this feature, but I used to develop a function to update prices for a client. Add a new action that, when clicked, updates the price of the lines based on the current date.
But this requires customization.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.

Hi,
Prices will populated in Sales Line form Sales Price and Sales Price gets according to the Order Date in Sales Header.
If you change the date and enter the item, then it will insert the price as per your requirement.
