Is there a payroll summary report available prior to posting? What we are looking for is a report that summarizes/sums departmental totals so that we can print and send copy to manager for final approval.

Hi Dustin, yes there should be pre-posting reports that can give you this information.

Go to Tools | Setup | Posting | Posting
Series - Payroll

Origin - Computer Checks

Anything with PPR is print before post, so review those reports.

Check out the Distribution Report detail and summary a lot of that is by department.

I have this report (Distribution Report detail) but the deductions are not showing. Is there a place where i have to turn them on??

Hi Brenda,

The report you want may well not already exist. However, all of the information is there from which you may craft a new report using the report designer of your choice. Look in the UPR10xxxx tables for the details. Transactions in these tables represent unposted transactions. You mentioned specifically that you wanted Deductions, you can find deductions in UPR10204. You will have to have already gone through the Build and Calculate to get good numbers.
