ECM - Enable change management on existing product feature

Hi there,

I'm new to D365 system. I noticed there's the Convert to engineering product wizard that converts existing standard product to engineering product.

According to help document (refer to below URL if needed), it says I need to turn on the Enable change management on existing products feature in Feature Management.

However, I wasn't able to locate that feature even after clicking on Check for updates button located on top of the screen.

Any feedback will be highly appreciated.

    Hi Michael,

    What exact version of Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management are you using? I think the feature was available since 10.0.15 or 10.0.16. If you have an older version running, you need to perform an update to the current version.

    I'm using the product version 10.0.16 (10.0.689.20034).

    Please see below screen shot and let me know if something is missing.

    Hi Michael,

    Did you already check if the configuration key is enabled? https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/supply-chain/engineering-change-management/product-engineering-overview

    The configuration enablement is a pre-requisite for the feature to show up in feature management.

    Hi Andre,

    Yes, the configuration key was enabled. According to the latest MS document, I just noticed that the feature will be available from version 10.0.17. Thanks.
