I'm looking at project where we need a POS solution to create sales orders in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. This we had multiple options for. A new requirement came in to allow POS users ability to edit and amend sales orders early in the process (like changing dates, items, prices, etc. after loading into D365. This is not so nice and gives me bad vibes. Power apps is likely option, but taking a step back has anyone done something similar before? Are there any third-party POS solutions that allow this level of integration and editing with D365 F&O? The users are part of the organization but cannot access d365 directly security and related is not the issue more the approach for functionality.
Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
