Dynamics 365 Sandbox environments for developing integrations

Is there a way we could buy or get access to a D365 development or sandbox environment? The intended use would be to test and create integrations with other solutions not for production use whatsoever. This would not be applicable to CDX environments. Are there any option outside of buying the licenses and full price?

I understand that trials are available but they expire. Im looking for a way to get D365 development environments for long term use.

You can create an environment which type is development or sandbox in your tenant.
