Hi All,

I have a question when I go to Inquiry >> Inventory >> Item >> Allocated I see some invoices that seemed to be missing.

When I select one of the records and Click on Document Number I receive the following error message.

ItemAllocationInquiryErrorMessage.png

I then ran a select query in SQL Server for the SOPNUMBE in SOP10100, SOP10102, SOP30200 and SOP30300 and the only one that returns any records are the line work table SOP10102. Can advice on whats happening? and what can I do to fix this issue. Thanks in advance.

I then ran a select query in SQL Server for the SOPNUMBE in SOP10100, SOP10200, SOP30200 and SOP30300  not SOP10120 and the only one that returns any records are the line work table SOP10200.

After doing Some more research I realized these were orphan invoice lines and the only way to get rid of them was to create a SQL query to make sure they didn't exist either in SOP10100, SOP30200 or SOP30300 and then I deleted them from SOP10200. Therefore clearing Dynamics Item Allocation Inquiry.

Is it too late to restore from backup? Your purchase receipts table is no going to be out of sync with your sold receipts and running inventory reconcile will adjust your inventory quantities after the removal of these records. If you could restore the database to a point before the deletion to a separate database you could then put them back into your production database. What was the reason that caused the need for the deletion?
