Business rule

Hi Everyone

I have some 6 custom fields for tax it is not used for all ,so i need to set value for all as 0, if required i need to over write  it with some value .

i tried with business rule to set value but after that if i need to over write the value it's not, regaining the 0 value only so please help me to do this.

    You can write a condition like this

    If(field1 does not contain data) Then set value to 0. So when you change the value it will not reset it to 0.

    Agree with Vikas, you may be missing to validate first if it has already value then don't overwrite it. Business rule will fire onload and onchange of the field so it will reset it to 0 if you are not checking it.

    Field1 means same field which i wanted to set 0 right.

    Yes, field1 is just a representation. You have to select the actual field in the business rule.
