Hi all

Does anyone know if and when the CRM 2011 Outlook Plug-In will be supported on Windows Server 2012? It is supported for Windows 8, so it can't be *that* hard to support Windows Server 2012 based remote desktops?

Please see the updated KB for the supported OS System requirements

Supported operating systems: Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Vista, Windows XP

Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook can be installed on computers that have any combination of the following:

Windows operating systems:

•Windows 8 (see Additional Information section below)

•Windows 7 (both 64-bit and 32-bit versions)

•Windows Vista (both 64-bit and 32-bit versions)

•Windows XP with SP3

•Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2003 when running with Remote Desktop Services (formerly Terminal Services)

Microsoft Office: •Microsoft Office 2013 (32 or 64-bit versions. See Additional Information section below)

•Microsoft Office 2010 (32 or 64-bit versions)

•Microsoft Office 2007 (32-bit versions)

•Microsoft Office 2003 SP3 (32-bit versions)

Thanks Mohammad, but this was not the question if it is supported.

I *know* that it is *currently* not supported.

My question is:

- Is it planned to get Windows 2012 support for the Outlook plugin (in an RDS environment)

- Is there a timeframe for Windows 2012 support for the Outlook plugin (in an RDS environment)

Ok, We don't have any ETA yet and there is no official news that weather we are going to support in future or not. May I know is there a special requirement that you want to install Outlook client in Windows server and not on other Clint OS? if yes, please post your requirement with suggestion on connect site.

Yes, of course. This is a Terminal Server / Remote Desktop Services scenario, which is pretty common...

I've just come across this problem, which is a very big issue for me. I would also like to know an ETA on supporting 2012 RDS for the Outlook Dynamics CRM Client please.

We have it working on Server 2012 / Outlook 2013 by using the latest Rollup 13 executable.

Install WIF from Server Manager.

right Click and put Setup Executable in Windows 7 compatibility mode, Run As Administrator to Install.

Configure as normal.

Can you provide a link to 'the latest Rollup 13 executable"? I am able to find the update files but not an updated installer.
