Dear all,
I am facing a problem in MS GP business portal requisition management site. I want to add / replace a user in the existing approval hierarchy of Requisition Management. When I try to add user at any hierarchy level, everytime it is displaying me an error :
"The Approval Hierarchy is not locked".
Please help me in this matter.

In our case, there was a trigger on the MultiUserManager table, its name is "MaintainClearMultiUserManagerTable ". so we disbled this trigger and then this problem is resolved. This is not a custom trigger as you can see from its name. Its installed with business portal itself, but we dont know, how it is installed and in which scenario it is installed ?

Glad you solved your problem... Could you be more specific about the solution ? it could prove to be useful for other BP user that would face the same problem... I couldn't find any trigger on the table MultiUserManager, thus it must be either an Stored Procedures or something else.

Ok, we resolved the issue with the help of microsoft. There is a trigger on MultiUserManager table, which need to be disabled.

Could you take a backup and try the following to see if it is somehow locked?
delete DYNAMICS..MultiUserManager

I am using Dynamics GP 10 with Business Portal 4.0 version. There are multiple administrators but at this time, only I am trying to change approval hierarchy.

Which version of Business Portal and Dynamics GP are you running ? Are you the only administrator of the BP ?
