How to get Dynamic CRM 365 all Metadata and Components?

(0) ShareShare

Hello,

I would like to export below components from the dynamic CRM 365 instance.
> Entity Metadata
> Option Sets
> Business Rules
> BPFs
> Processes
> Plug-ins
> Custom Workflows
etc...

Is there any ready-made tool available that helps to achieve this?
OR
Has anyone done similar work before?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi ,

Download the  XRMtoolbox (https://www.xrmtoolbox.com/) where you will get Metadata browser plugin.

    https://carldesouza.com/xrmtoolbox-metadata-browser/

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/developer/browse-your-metadata

    Hope this helps-

Browsing metadata of Dynamics 365 is now simpler with Chromium-based extension. Available both on Chrome and Edge.

There is an option to export to CSV as well.

    Hi Jalak

You should be able to do this with my app, though it will require a few operations for querying the workflow and plugin types separately

    1. There is an export customisation feature which exports entities, fields, option sets into Excel or CSVs josephmcmac.wordpress.com/.../customisation-export-in-josephm-dynamics-365-dev-app

    2. You can run queries on all types in the system including plugins, workflows etc. using the Crud/Query feature which can then be exported to Excel / CSV josephmcmac.wordpress.com/.../

The app can be downloaded here github.com/.../latest

I may add workflows and plugins as part of the customisation export feature at some stage but haven't got to it yet, so for now the CRUD/Query feature would need to be used to query them individually

    Hope this helps
