Hello everyone!

I want to implement a functionality on Address Name field of Addresses table to be automatically populated with a prefix and 10 numbers on click of creating a new record? I tried to workflow but this does not seem to work as I want to avoid coding.

Any suggestions or best approach on this scenario?

Hi Sol007,

The best approach is to change the data type of the field to Autonumber and specify these values:

Autonumber Type: String Prefixed number

Prefix: Desired prefix

Minimum number of digits: 10

Seed Value: Desired seed value
