Entitlement Management Function

Hello everyone!

I have a question about entitlement management that hope you can provide your suggestion.

We need to manage each customer's user rights.

For example, customer A's transaction limit is 100/month, and customer B'stransaction limit is 120/month.

I didn't find Business Central has entitlement-related capability to manage customers' user rights.

Does anyone have the experience to manage customers' entitlement/rights in Business Central?

Thank you.

If you talking about Credit Limit. Then There is a Field in Customer Card  Called "Credit Limit".

Here You can Specify The maximum amount You allow the Customer to Exceed Payment balance.

AND IF THE CUSTOMER DID EXCEED THE LIMIT , BC WILL SEND A WARNING TO YOU.

    Hi,

You can define a credit limit on the customers but you can not define a transaction limit,

Transactions will flow in the standard system as long as the credit limit is not exceeded.

To handle transaction limits regardless of credit limit you can look into prepayment or you will have to look at doing a customization.

    Hi,

Credit Limit Functionality is available in standard system. Field name is Credit Limit in Customer Card. But if you control transactional wise then do customization of posting the sales invoice.

    Hi All,

    Thanks for your reply.

The transaction I mentioned is not a credit limit.

The transaction is one of the entitlements. In the rental business, the customers have different services (monthly printouts, onsite/remote service)  based on their fees. We need to know once the customer exceeds their usage/entitlements.

I'd like to know if any standard function can manage this scenario or if other alternative solutions, or customizing is the only solution.

    Thank you.
