Sample Data General Posting Setup Error

The sample data is always throwing errors related to tax setup, general setup, and other areas that are usually perfectly setup in the first place. 

Anyway, I'm simply trying to post an Assembly Order.  I see nothing in the General Posting Setup that will cause this problem.

Please let me know what's wrong.  Thanks!

    So you have a line with a blank gbpg?

    Is the assembly linked to a sales order or is it standalone? If it's the former the posting takes place at the point of shipment with the order instead.

    Hey Josh:

    No, there is no blank line in the General Posting Setup.  That's a good thought, though!

    It's a standalone assembly order.

    You need a line with a blank gbpg it caters for the internal postings you make like an assembly order

    It's funny.  I discovered this, just before finding your reply here!  You're 100% correct!  Thank you!

    Wow!  I can't believe that you have to have a blank General Business Posting Group.  It makes sense.  But, the interface makes it look like there is a blank required field.  

    Anyway, thank you again, my friend!  You have been my mentor, through all of this!
