How can I take a partial payment at the POS tender screen

I want to create a transaction on the POS screen and be able to do the following two things

1 - Create a transaction on the store operations POS screen and record it so that it becomes an accounts receivable for payment at a later date and

2 - Create a transaction on the store operations POS screen and take a partial payment with the balance becoming an accounts receivable. I can't do this now because the tender screen is not letting me take less than the complete transaction amount as payment.

We are using

Store Operations Manager Version 2.0.0126: Model Microsoft Dynamics RMS

Create a new tender type 'On Account' and make the tender type 'Account'. You can split payments, etc.

    Hello Jeff,

You would want to run through the help file in Store Operations and make sure you have a store account set up for that customer, and also have the correct type of tender type.

    Hi Jeff

You can do this thing in POS.

There is an option for that.

Try to search in your POS help file (you can open is with press F1 key.) and search for Layaway. Work Order, Back order.

Check witch option is actually suitable for you.
