Hi,

May I know in what scenario the production can produced without complete the work progress (Consumption and Output posted partially)?

Yes. Consumption and Output processes are independent each other’s.

You can post Output via Output journal or post Output lines via Production journal before Consumption posting.

When you try to set Status to your Released Production Order to Finished you should see warning message a-la:

Production Order 1011004 has not been finished. Some consumption is still missing. Do you still want to finish the order?
