Change the AD login for CRM user

Hello,

We want to migrate our AD server to a new one. At this moment, we are in testing. We created two users in the old AD and migrated then to the new one. All is fine. Then in the CRM, we just changed the login to AD by the new.Eexample: olddomain\user changed in newdomain\user . It seems to work but is this solution supported by Microsoft or this is solution don't have to be used ?

Hi,

There is nothing wrong with that process... you could also do a bulk import however you would end up with similar user records on different domains.

Thanks a lot.

The first domains will disapear after the migration. It stays only for the time we need to migrate all the users.
