Personal Data Keeper - Password change failed for an unknown reason

I am attempting to setup a user in PDK that does not need access to Microsoft GP 2010 r2.  When the user signs into PDK, it requests that the user change his password.  When the user changes the password, he gets the following...

"The password change failed for an unknown reason.  Enter a different password or contact your system administrator."

 

He has tried multiple passwords but nothing seems to work.  Has anyone experienced this?

    I tried locating the most recent posts regarding users who were having issues changing passwords within Great Plains.  Our issue pertains to both PDK and Dynamics GP 2010.  Our password reset issue was caused by monitoring triggers activating the SET ANSI NULLS feature.  Once the SQL DBA removed the code from the triggers, we were able to add new Great Plains users and update existing Great Plains and PDK users' passwords without receiving the error message - The password change failed for an unknown reason.  Enter a different password or contact your system administrator.

    Try using the SQL Native Client ODBC connections from the client to the server.
