Approve the document through Email by clicking approval button

Is there any way to let User click approval button in Email then the system will approve the document (EX: PO). No need to log into D365 BC on Premise

I read some article said it can done by Power Automate for SAAS, but not sure it can work for On Premise

    Hello,

    This can indeed be done via Power Automate, you need to open the mail first and then click approve. I believe the scenario also works in OnPrem setup, but I need to spend some time on it to see if this is enabled in OnPrem BC.

    No, not out of the box on BC on-prem.
     
    Email Approve/Reject buttons work only with Power Automate (SaaS).
     
    BC on-prem doesn’t support approving documents directly from email without logging in.
     
    Possible only with custom integration (Power Automate + on-prem API/web service).

    Hi,
     
    There is no direct, out-of-the-box way for Power Automate to call the Business Central APIs unless you expose BC On-Premise endpoints externally (via API Web Services and a gateway)

    While not recommended, if you have an On-Pre version, you can try to modify the database directly.
