Notify Sender on approval requests not working

I have set up a PQ approval flow and the email notifications to the approvers work. However, the person who requests approval doesn't receive an email notification back that their request has been approved, even though I have the box checked. Is there anything I can do to make it work

    Hello chg94,

    I think it works if you create a new response: "Create a notification for <User>", and then you check the Notify Sender = TRUE.

    Anyway, I would put it not there, but when the Pending Approvals:0, otherwise a notification will be sent to the Sender for every approval sent to a possible new approver, and not when the Purchase Quote is finally approved.

    In fact, I would use Notify Sender, with Notification Entry Type = Approval and not "New Record".

    The New Record email will tell you that new Approval Entries were created.

    The Approval email will tell you that the document X has been approved.
