Hi,
I wanted to group the products in family and when the user selects a family only the products under that family will be shown. how can I do that?

If am not wrong there is no out of box feature to filter product using family. Rather you do lookup filter using is based in the family selected.

Hi Jane,
You can do this as follows-
1. Create additional view "All Products" & "All Families" i.e. putting a filter to Product Structure as 'Product' & product Family' respectively.
2. On your desired entity, create a new Product lookup field named it as 'Product Family'. Add it on form and select the view as "All Product Families".
3. Create another new Product lookup field named it as 'Product'. Add it on form and select the view as "All Products" and also set the related record filtering.
4. Now, from Product Family field you can select the product family which will only display the products associated to that family.
