Is it possible to get get the reference field(red colored in attached image) in the Analytical Accounting Report for this journal entry?

Hi Joseph,

It is not possible to get reference field you mentioned above to get them into AA reports. But you can always use the reference field provided in AA window to print this information in AA reports especially in DQW report.

Hi Joseph,

You will be able to add the Reference field into the Analytical Accounting Report by using Report Writer.

you will find the report writer under Microsoft Dynamics GP --> Tools --> Customize --> Report Writer from the menu option

Just to provide further illustration on the "Reference" fields associated with Journal Entry. On the General Ledger Journal Entry, there are two fields as shown below;

GL Reference (Header): this is a reference on the journal entry level - it shows on the GL Posting Journal

GL Reference (Detail), per journal entry - it shows on the Trial Balance Report "in detail"

AA Reference, which is not shown as default on the AA Posting Journal

To add the AA reference to the aaDistribution Journal report, go to Modify Report, and add the field "Distribution Reference" shown under "aaGLWorkAssign", as illustrated below
