Relationship mapping gets lost after solution transfer

Hello,

I have created new custom relationships including mapping between fields, and for standard relationships I have created mappings for custom fields etc.

This works fine, but when I transfer the solution to our test/prod instances, the mappings are lost. Am I doing something wrong here? Do I need to add some other component to my solution before transporting it?

    Hi,

    Check this out;

    stackoverflow.com/.../attribute-mappings-on-n1-relationships-not-included-in-export

    For instance, check out if you have the attributes in the solution from the target entities.

    Hi Jason,

    thanks for your reply. I am using unmanaged solutions. I just added the entity itself without any other resources. Then I added the existing relationships I needed to modify or created new ones inside the solution.

    Regards,

    Thomas

    Hello Thomas;

    A few questions for you. First are you using managed/unmanaged solutions? Secondly in your solution have you added all of the components for each entity or have you just added the relationship component of that entity where you modified it?
