Hi

I created an Item reclassification journal today on BC (warehouse turned on but not direct put away and pick). The item used has serial number tracking (Item tracking code) but I didn't input a serial number and it still posted. I expected it to error and ask for a serial number input.

Here is tracking code setup. Where would Item reclass fall under (inbound/outbound/general)?

you need to use item tracking code with this flag turn to yes so BC requires tracking code for reclassification.
item reclassification belongs to internal movement since user move items to different location/bins etc and doesn't belong to inbound and outbound
