I see that the service activity is scheduled to be deprecated in a major release. The documentation isn't exactly clear how this will be handled and what kind of transition plan is needed. We need to be able to use the Service Activity and Service Scheduling features of D365 and have hundreds of hours of development invested into this.
Are we ok to continue down this development path with the understanding that we will have ample time/support to make the required changes for this future update?

I have the same question (0)Hi there,
You can find the answer in the referred document: (docs.microsoft.com/.../important-changes-coming)
Service scheduling features will be included in the Unified Resource Scheduling solution. This solution integrates seamlessly with Dynamics 365, and will work with Dynamics 365 for Customer Service.
