GP has eConnect, Web Services, Service Based Architecture, Integration Manager, as well as ways into the Dexterity code, adding VB code, and Visual Studio Tools to customize and integrate directly into forms in GP.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/dynamicsgp/developer/hh686187(v%3dgp.20)

In terms of which to use, it depends on what you're doing but eConnect and VSTools are the best, Web Services is simply an extra layer on eConnect, but lets you program in C# against eConnect.

Itsazzad, We have done couple of GP eCommerce  Portal integrations ( Asp.Net, magento, PHP based) for our customers, if you have any option to consider external help, we can offer the solution.  please drop an email to discuss.

There are lots of idiosyncrasies to deal with when integrating to something like GP. It may be better to consider a pre-written connector. There are also companies that host Magento and already work with GP and that will remove the pain of a custom integration.

    Worth reading...

Search "magento connector dynamcis gp" will bring up quite a few companies in this space.

Obviously not much use if you are being paid to produce an integration. - In this case eConnect is your only sensible choice in my opinion, you will need to extend the provided APIs to get to where you need to be with a full e-commerce integration.

Thanks for the responses guys, it would be cool to connect your Magneto store to Microsoft Dynamics. I will try this for sure, it would make everything easier. Still, the most important thing, in my opinion, is the marketing of your store. You can do it yourself if you know how to, but it's really time-consuming. I tried it, and it was something that I was not able to do properly. The good thing for me is that magento 2 marketing automation exists. I have set it up, and the results were seen fast, it's awesome.

    1. Install the Microsoft Dynamics GP API. The API can be installed from the Microsoft website.
    2. Create a new Magento module. The module will contain the code that will connect Magento to Dynamics GP.
    3. Write the code that will interact with the API. The code will need to call the API functions to perform the desired actions.
    4. Test the connector. Once the code is written, it should be tested to make sure that it is working properly.

Here are the steps on how to develop a connector between Magento eCommerce and Microsoft Dynamics GP 2016 using a third-party integration platform:

    1. Choose a third-party integration platform. There are a number of integration platforms that can be used to connect Magento and Dynamics GP.
    2. Install the integration platform. The integration platform can be installed from the platform's website.
    3. Create a new connection between Magento and Dynamics GP. The connection will specify the data that will be exchanged between the two systems.
    4. Test the connector. Once the connection is created, it should be tested to make sure that it is working properly.

    Which Method is Better?

The best method for developing a connector between Magento eCommerce and Microsoft Dynamics GP 2016 depends on the specific needs of the project. If the project requires a custom connector, then the API is a good option. If the project requires a quick and easy solution, then a third-party integration platform is a good option.

    Hello,

I'd look into using eOne's SmartConnect to do this.  It has the option to connect with the Magento API.

Let us know if you have questions.
