Hi,

I am working as a functional consultant for Dynamics CRM

I am starting to prepare for dynamics CRM certifications.

Could you advice me what certifications I should look at, how I should prepare myself for certification, how long it would take?

Thanks a lot

    Hi,

I think you should opt for the latest Dynamics 365 Certifications.

    • Exam MB2-715/Course 81071 - Microsoft Dynamics 365 customer engagement Online Deployment
    • Exam MB2-716/Course 81071 - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customization and Configuration

Once you complete this, you will be MCSA: Microsoft Dynamics 365

Once you are MCSA, you can continue to learn and become MCSE, for which you need to take one of the specialized exam below:

    MB2 717 - Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales

    MB2 718 - Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Customer Service

For training, the best way is to train and learn, but for guidance you can access DLP which has specific content for the courses. You should typically prepare for a month to take an exam.

    This link has more details:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/learning/mcsa-microsoft-dynamics-365.aspx

PS: If your org is MS Partner, you may have access to DLP, and you need to consult with Your Admin to get  the details.

    Happy CRMing.

    Hi Somesh,

    Thanks for the information.

Do I have to complete both MB2-715 and MB2-716 to become MCSA or any one is enough???

    Thanks in advance!!!

    Happy CRMing:)

    Hi

You need to complete both the exam for becoming MCSA in Dynamics 365, because they are related to core CRM.

For MCSE, you need to complete only 1 because all exams are different specialisation like Sales, Customer Service etc.

Follow this sequence which I mentioned in the original ans.

Somesh and Vicky, do you recommend any online or classroom training sessions for these exams?

    Ben,

If you have access to Customer Source or DLP, and have hands on experience with Dynamics 365, that should be enough to pass the exams.

If you don't have access, you can request access via

    Hope this helps.
