Hi All,
We want to know about the standard deployment process in Business Central.
As per our understanding, when you've completed all company-level setups and imported the master tables data, we take the backup of those companies and then allow the users to perform the test transaction on the Sandbox instance.
Once everything is done then we take these backups and restore them for the production deployment. Is this process correct?
The problem is if someone posts the transaction then that can NOT be reverted and the backups with those posted transactions are useless for the production deployment.
Is it possible to move all different kinds of setups from one company to another for the production deployment? If so then we can then import the master data and complete the deployment.
Can anyone advise what are the BEST practices for the go-live deployment?
Thank you.
