Category Hierarchy not displaying in the order configured via Display Order

Posted on by 5

Hi All,

From within F&O you can set a display order for your products to be displayed from within the e-commerce site from which you have deployed via EcoResCategoryHierarchyListPage (or I am told by our partner). However, we configured all the 'Display orders' based on a category, and then the products within the category are at the same display order with a decimal place (i.e. 'Hats' are 1.0 and within 'Red Hat' 1.10). At the highest level or products (ALL), we don't have a Display order, nor the second level, third, etc., but we do at the level which controls the products.

Also, It appears that the relevance default sort is changing our products order daily on our site regardless of the display order. Once we set the new display order, it changed online, but it has no bearing/no meaning to what we built out (have tried positive/negative numbers, you name it). We have run the jobs to push the changes over, etc. No luck. Any advice would be appreciated at this point.

BONUS: If you can tell me how to default the drop down from 'relevance' to 'AtoZ' sort, it will help resolve better than what its showing now.
