Appointment Import

Is there anyway to import appointments to CRM Online?

I have an old set of calendar appointments from a predecessor -  I was not a resource on these appointments so cannot simply click Track for them to sync to CRM Online.

Thanks

    RE: Appointment Import

Thanks but the calendar appointments are in Outlook -  There does not seem to be a function for direct importing of eg. iCalendar format.

Alternatively when I export an Outlook file to e.g. csv it excludes fields such as the message field so I cannot fully populate a downloaded xml appointment template.

    Hello Roger,

    Please find the links below.

    community.dynamics.com/.../importing-appointments-with-multiple-attendees.aspx

    - First export the appointments from the previous CRM instance in.xml file.

    - Then to import the data you exported, first we need to have the template downloaded from the new CRM instance.

    - To do this click Settings > Data Management > Templates for Data Import.

    - Alternatively, you can also download the Data Import Template directly from the Ribbon in any entity grid, by clicking on Import Data > Download Template for Import.

    - In the web dialog that opens, select Appointment and click Download.

    - Save the appointment.xml file on your computer, and open it in Microsoft Excel.

    - You can now start filling in all the information in this document that you have already exported in the first step. Once you have created all the records, save and close this file.

    - Now you need to import this file into your CRM system. To do this, Navigate to Workplace > Imports and click on Import Data.

    - Select the appointment.xml file that you have saved just now.

    - Select whether you want to allow duplicates and who you want the owner to be.

    - After this hit submit.

    For example (just for reference)

    I hope this helps.

    Thank You !
