Agree with Valentin. This practice is not recommended.
If you must do it, I hope the following information can help you.
Dynamics 365 Business Central: Manual number for Posted Sales invoice and Posted Purchase invoice (Use the same number in Sales Order and Posted Sales Invoice?)

    Thanks

If you delete a posted document, the system doesn’t actually remove the associated posted ledger entries. So, even though the invoice is deleted, the GL entries with that invoice number remain. Typically, instead of deleting a document, it is reversed. Because of this, its not recommended to reuse the same invoice number.

    Hi, good day
I hope this can help you, and give you some hints. You can delete the document, but not the posting records.

Once a posted invoice is deleted, the invoice number is not immediately reusable because the system retains the record in the background to ensure audit trail compliance.

I am not sure but you can try by changing the last no used in number series.
