RMS items mass update supplier info

I think I have seen this asked before but i am not familiar with using sql and writing queries etc.   Seems like a pretty big flaw in the tools to not have the ability to modify mass details on thousands of items from the Wizard.  (well some details you can but not this one!)

there are literally thousands of items that I need to update with a new Primary Supplier,  not all items, but for example everything that has an ID starting with "HRC" and "HPI" as these are some of the brands / manufacturers that need updating.  

It would be a huge waste of resources and money to have employees sit and modify items one at a time!

Is there any easy way to do this?  I didn't think I would have to hire a programmer for my store just to use Dynamics... this should be built in IMHO.

    Unfortionally The inventory wizard does not include updating suppliers.  So you would have to do this via sql query.  I am willing to help with the query writting and that would make this go smoother and faster.

    Just make sure to update the item table and the supplierlist table.  Item keeps a reference for the primary supplier and the supplierlist keeps a crosslink between items and all assigned suppliers from that item.
