settle credit card that was a phone approval

My POS was down and I had to phone in CC for approvals. These transactions never settled to the bank account. I was told by my merchant that I had to force the transaction through Micosoft RMS once POS working. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Don't want to recharge the customer by running CC again.

    Create the sale | finish the sale | tender the sale with the credit card you wish to use | type in the cc #, expire date and the auth code you recieved over the phone.
